Virtual Benefits Specialist

We are seeking two dedicated individuals for this part-time, remote position, offering the flexibility to transition into full-time roles with comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support to clients seeking assistance with insurance benefits.
  • Build strong relationships and trust with clients through clear communication and empathy.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to solve client issues and deliver personalized solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Customer service and phone experience.
  • Active health insurance license in one or more of the following states: FL, GA, MD, MI, MS, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA. (Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.)
  • Prior insurance experience is not required. We will mentor the right candidate.

What You Get

  • Flexible part-time shifts (3-5 hours a day)
  • Competitive compensation and potential for growth
  • No selling! This is a consultative role.
  • $20+/hour + commission based on performance ($300-$1,000/week)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive insurance needs assessments for clients
  • Enroll clients in qualifying health plans using a consultative approach
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the enrollment process and beyond
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and marketplace guidelines

Qualifications

  • Health (aka Accident & Health) insurance license
  • ACA Marketplace Certification
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and insurance software (will train)
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales goals

Workspace Requirements

Candidates must have a dedicated workspace with reliable high-speed internet access. Required equipment includes:

  • Personal computer or laptop
  • Dual monitors
  • Noise-canceling headset with microphone

We reimburse $100 for equipment expenses upon successful completion of a 30-day probationary period.
